Overview of energy saving lighting controls

Saving energy in lighting is not complicated and potentials for savings can be found in practically every building.

There are 3 levels on which you can achieve savings. We makes solutions for each level and also combinations of levels. Solutions which combine all 3 approaches generally deliver the best results. Click here for a 1-page flyer.

Energy Saving Level 1: Turn lights (or other appliances) off when you don't need them

Occupancy Sensor / Presence Detector, Very sensitive motion sensor
Motion Sensor for wall mounting, 180 degrees, simple retrofit for manual switches
Outdoor Motion Sensor, IP55, 290°, Wall or ceiling mounting, security sensor

Energy Saving Level 2: Use only as much light as required

DAYTRONIC Daylight Dimming Ballasts / Daylight Harvesting Ballast
Occupancy and Daylight Dimming sensor
Dimmer leading edge and trailing edge, DIN rail mounting

Energy Saving Level 3: Replace inefficient lamps

LED Emergency Exit Signs, free of maintenance, 1 W power only
Small fluorescent fittings, ideal replacements for low voltage halogen  Electronic HF Dimming Ballasts, 1..10V, also for Daylight Dimming applications
Zero maintenance LED Emergency Exit Signs
Replace conventional ballasts with electronic ballasts
