LED Emergency Exit Signs with backup battery

In the case of an emergency (failure of mains power supply) these signs switch automatically to battery operation.

The difference between LITE and COMFORT is that in the LITE range the sign is on with full intensity all of the time whereas the COMFORT series offers a photosensor that can dim down the sign in order to keep constant contrast (recommended for cinemas, much less distraction).

Operation on mains power supply: 100% intensity. In case of a failure of mains supply, the sign switches to battery operation.

Operation on battery power: 100% intensity.
Runtime in battery mode: at least 3 hours.

In contrast to the Lite series the Comfort series can adapt the illumination of the sign depending on the ambient lighting conditions. Basically, the sign will dimm down to 30% when less ambient light is available. Of course, in an emergency, the sign switches to 100% brightness immediately.

This feature makes these signs the perfect choice for cinemas, theaters and other applications where Exit signs can be a distraction.
4 different operational modes can be selected (including constant 100% output on mains power supply as with the LITE series).

A status LED indicates which mode of operation is currently selected (for a detailed explanation of the modes please refer to the datasheet).
