Sensor Elements for Fixtures
Slimmer sensors for modern luminaires
Light fitting design is moving towards thinner tubes. Simultaneously, the fittings become flatter and so also the sensor elements need to become smaller.
All functional types that are available in the
Ceiling Occupancy Sensors are now also available for light fittings. To match the latest very flat electronic ballasts, no component of these modular sensors is higher than 22mm.
Occupancy Sensing, Daylight Dimming and the combination of both approaches are available for your fittings.
In order to make this new solution as flexible as possible for you sensor element and switching element are implemented in two separate modules. Loads can be as large as 1.000VA and have an inrush current of up to 100A.
Sensor elements well protected
In oder to avoid damages to the sensor head - which is a common problem with other ways of sensor mounting - the sensors heads were designed to be flush with the luminaire front. No part of the sensor is protruding. As an additional benefit, this will not compromise on your carefully balanced design of the luminaire.
Easy accessability for sensor adjustment
All necessary adjustment elements are at the front of the sensor head (e.g. light level and delay time adjustments) and not inside the luminaire. This makes commissioning on site and later adjustments very easy and quick.
Design options to match your luminaire design
The sensor heads elements can be designed in different colours of polycarbonate or with a coating to match your design requirements.
